The boys went to their first overnight camp this year! It was a mini camp so it was only 3 nights and 4 days. Evan was pretty happy but Sean asked us to never leave him again.... Poor thing! I think it was good for him but he would most likely disagree.

Bears! Oh My!
Evan and Sean crossed over to Bear Cub Scouts this weekend. Our pack does a camp out for the cross over. The boys raced boats in a "raingutter regata" and Sean did really well. He was pretty pleased with himself though you could not tell it from the videos I took. In addition the boat races, there was field games, tug of war, hiking and running around in the rain (it rains every year during this campout). I took a lot of pictures and videos but here are my boys as BEARS! Go Bears!

Seanism
Last night on the way home from scouts we were listening to music. When
we get home Evan jumps out of the car and runs into the house. Sean
just sits in his seat thinking he said. I wait a few moments and start
to get out of the car when he says, Mom I have a question. I say okay.
He says "I can lick my lips but how do you swing your hips?".....
Sigh....

We take on the Capitol for Spring Break... Is there gonna be roller coasters?
Steve and decided to pile in the car and drive to Washington DC for
spring break. Once we told the kids, the boys wanted to know if we could go to Busch Gardens Williamsburg - we told them it was closed but secretly if the weather was good, we were going to surprise them with it! It was quite the trip. We drove to Pittsburgh and spent the
night before rolling into our Nation's capitol. We spent three action
packed days in DC checking out the Air & Space Museum, the National
Natural History Museum, the US Capitol where we met our congressman, the
National Zoo and as many monuments as we could see. Then we drove to
Virginia and spent one very lovely weather day at Busch Gardens
Williamsburg. We spent our last day at Jamestown seeing both the
historic site and the living museum where the kids could go back in time
to that era. They we stopped on the way home for a visit with our
friend who lives near Cincinnati (perfect resting spot before the last
six hours home). I think the boys liked Busch Gardens the best!
